OUR CHRISTMAS
CHALLENGE HAS BEGUN - WILL YOU HELP US PLEASE?
We are very excited to
announce that our Annual Christmas Challenge begins today.
The fundraiser is made possible by a very generous couple
who, amazingly once again have pledged to match every £
raised during December up to a total of £3,000.
If you
are new to the Christmas Challenge you can read all about it
here. Simply put, it is the biggest event of the year
and a crucial part of our funding. We always need our
Challenge to be a success as it directly effects what we are
able to do on the ground to support children. Put simply,
the more we receive - the more we can do and we are very
clear that children continue to need more support than ever
to help with the outcome of being out of school for two
years.
We have set an ambitious
target for the Christmas Challenge. Our first target is to
raise the £3,000. If we do so, that sum will be matched and
we will receive another £3,000. But we need to go further.
In total we aim to raise at least a further £4,000 which
would give us a total of £10,000. This won't include our
regular donations but it will include all other donations,
grants and fundraising. We know this a huge sum and really
is a challenge. We also know that many people are themselves
facing many pressures of their own this winter. But if you
can help us, please do add Mango Tree to your Christmas List
and make a donation. Please don't think that what you could
give wouldn't matter. It will make a difference and it does
really matter. You really can make a difference and we hope
that if you can, you will.
